Stella Lani, LLC was founded on the beautiful island of Maui in 2009. Our name combines the Latin word Stella, meaning ‘Star,’ with the Hawaiian word Lani, meaning ‘Heaven.’
We are a fully licensed and insured general contracting firm built around the belief that the big picture is made up of countless small details. We approach every project with intention and care, because it’s the little things that make a big difference.
Stella Lani provides comprehensive interior and exterior construction, renovation, restoration, and property improvement services for both residential and commercial clients. Through our dedicated in-house staff and experienced subcontractors, we provide professional, efficient, turn-key construction solutions while giving our clients peace of mind throughout the process.

FOUNDER & OWNER
As a third-generation skilled tradesman, Tony Wilmet founded Stella Lani, LLC in 2009 based on established principles of quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and client satisfaction.
After graduating from DePaul University, Tony began his trade career with the oldest stained-glass company in North America, specializing in the restoration of church windows. He quickly earned journeyman status with the Carpenters Union and went on to gain extensive experience as a cabinet maker, wood specialist, and skilled tradesman while working alongside exceptional builders.
Those experiences helped shape Tony’s approach to construction today — an appreciation for quality materials, careful workmanship, accountability, and work that is built to last.
Tony enjoys bringing that experience to Stella Lani and helping homeowners fully enjoy their properties through exceptional materials and workmanship. Together with his team of skilled craftsmen, he is committed to delivering high-quality work and long-lasting customer satisfaction.
